Im Juli haben wir eine Rundfahrt durch die Kananaskis gemacht. Der Highway 40 ist vom 1. Dezember bis Mitte Juni wegen zuviel Schnee gesperrt.
In July we made a trip to the Kananaskis. The highway 40 is closed from December 1st to mid of June because of too much snow.

Nachdem sich mein Mann laut genug beschwert hat, dass er noch keine Tiere gesehen hat, stand diese auf der Strasse: Big Horn Sheep, Schafe, die hier sogar ihr eigenes Verkehrsschild haben.
After my husband complained a lot and loud that he did not see any animals yet these guys were on the road: Big Horn Sheep, the only sheep I know with its own traffic sign.

Edit: Die Kananaskis sind uebrigens die Gegend, wo das Retreat stattfindet.
