Neues Jahr, neues Glueck / new year, new luck

… oder so aehnlich 😉 Jedenfalls sieht die Welt heute schon wieder ganz anders aus 🙂 Nach einem Tag Suche im Internet hatten wir uns ein paar Gebrauchtwagen ausgeguckt, die wir uns anschauen wollten und heute morgen sind wir warm eingepackt losgestiefelt, um zu gucken, ob die Autos noch erhaeltlich sind und sie zu begutachten. Lange mussten wir nicht suchen: Wir hatten uns unseren Favoriten zuerst angeschaut, eine Probefahrt gemacht, dafuer entschieden, gekauft und dank des mitgebrachten Nummernschildes vom alten Auto direkt mitnehmen koennen. Kurz und schmerzlos 🙂 Es ist wieder ein Ford Taurus. Wir mochten unseren alten und das hat den Vorteil, dass man sich nicht gross umgewoehnen muss. Der Holzwurm hat natuerlich trotzdem ein paar Spielereien entdeckt, die beim alten nicht vorhanden waren (elektronisch einstellbarer Fahrersitz *augenroll* 😉 ) und ist happy. So, und nun hole ich die Flasche Sekt aus dem Kuehlschrank, die wir zu Silvester nicht im Haus hatten und bei der Kaelte auch nicht mehr zu Fuss besorgen wollten. *Prost* auf 2010 und das “neue” Auto 🙂

… or something like that 😉 The world looks different today 🙂 After a day of internet research we found a few used cars that we wanted to see and this morning we started, wrapped in warm clothes, to check if they are still available and their condition. We didn’t have to look very long: We checked our favourite first, did a test drive, decided, bought and thanks to the licence plate of the old car we could take with us right away. Quick and easy 🙂 It’s a Ford Taurus again. We liked the old one and now we don’t have to get used to it. The woodworm found something new to play in the car that the old one didn’t have (electronically adjustable driver’s seat *eyerolling* 😉 ) and is happy. So, and now we’re drinking the champagne that we didn’t have on New Year’s Eve and didn’t want to walk in the cold just to get one.*Cheers* for 2010 and the “new” car 🙂
